A very unique, funny manga that follows the exploits of Ebichu, a talking female hamster with a dirty mind. This manga includes sexual dialogue, some nudity, and the occasional sex scene. There's also some violence against hamsters. It's all pretty lighthearted, but if any of this stuff offends you, don't read it.
Chapter 20
3 months agoSlice of life manga about a woman named Sazae and her family. In the gloomy years following Japan's defeat in WWII, when life was marked by food shortages and grim living conditions, the Sazae-san manga brought a much-needed ray of sunshine and laughter into Japanese homes. The secret of the strip's success lies both in in its cheerful if scatterbrained heroine, Sazae, and her very ordinary family.they allow the Japanese to share in the gentle jokes centering on the humdrum events of day-to-day living. The manga offers a rare glimpse into the daily life of the average family of these times, together with insights into the cultural customs and events that mark their lives.

Chapter 9.1
3 years ago*Tezuka completely redrew this from memory for the Tezuka 400 when this version was presumed lost. It was later rediscovered and collected in the Tezuka bunko.* The young Pete jumps aboard a ship captained by a friend of his late father. With a treasure map he left behind in his hands, he and the captain embark on an adventure to hunt it down. However, pesky pirates - like Bowarl and his crew - get in the way, also seeking the treasure for themselves! What sort of island is Treasure Island? And who will get the treasure first? Sakai is credited for the 'story' of this edition due to the many cuts and alterations he made, including the ending of the manga. Tezuka was not pleased with his edits, and did not consider it a work he did by himself. When collected in the Complete Works, the original was presumed lost, so Tezuka redrew the whole work from memory, restoring the cuts (such as Peter Pan). This edition is more of a 2/3koma compared to the 1984 definitive edition, which is a 4Koma.

Chapter 105
8 years agoOne day a boy named Pete finds a map of "Treasure Island" that his deceased father left behind. He starts on a voyage to find it together with "Captain," who was a friend of his father. But his ship is attacked by pirates, led by Bowarl, and the two are caught. When a storm hits the pirate ship, the two are thrown into the sea and washed up on the shore of a solitary island in the southern ocean. To their surprise, this island is the one they have been looking for… The manga that made Tezuka famous. It is an action-adventure drama inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's book. This is the redone version for the Tezuka 400 Complete Works. When time came to collect NTI for the Complete Works, Tezuka had promised that *All* of his works would get collected, but the original version was presumed lost. Tezuka, wishing to keep on his promise, decided to redraw the entire manga from memory. The version restored characters previously cut (like Peter Pan). The original ending was also restored, making this the definitive version of *New Treasure Island*. Among other alterations, this 1984 version is a 4Koma manga whereas the original was a mix of 2/3Koma. --- **Volume 281 of the Osamu Tezuka Complete Works**
