Tensai Bakabon (Or, "The Genius Bakabon" ) is a gag manga starring, ironically, the titular character's father, only known as "Bakabon's Papa". The manga generally centers around episodic stories of Papa causing trouble around town due to his own and his son's complete and utter incompetence. In the lower margins is a short strip titled "The Professional" about a hitman sent to take down the mob boss Calpis Souda, with many goofy things happening along the way.

A mysterious old woman appears before doctor Rasetsu Emma, who has recently lost his son in an accident. She says she can bring Daio back to life. Rasetsu does everything he can to reincarnate his son, but Daio just turns into a different kind of monster. No one can stop him as he continues to feed his hunger, claiming victim after victim.
