The year is Universal Century 0133. Ten years have past since the armed resistance of the aristocratic fraction, the Crossbone Vanguard, was subdued. Now Tobia must pilot one of the three powerful Crossbone Gundam to help this new Crossbone Vanguard in their quest to oppose the Jupiter Empire's plans.

Partially based on the Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Crossbone Vanguard novel, the manga acts as a prequel to the events of Mobile Suit Gundam F91, depicting the Crossbone Vanguard and the residents of Frontier IV prior to the Cosmo Babylonia War during Universal Century (UC) 0123.

Because his friends fired a rocket into the US Army camp, Suzuki was wanted by the US Army and the police. While he was running away the sea surface suddenly rose, and when a brilliant light appeared he saw a strange looking battleship flying in the air. He was dumped into the sea and when he crawled onto the battleship there was a beautiful girl standing there. She said her name was Lyx, the princess of another world, and added; "My Father is Japanese, Shinjiro Sakomizu. Please help me, Suzuki".

This work is depicted as an "if story" (alternative storyline) of the main Zeta Gundam series. Char Aznable, a captain in the Principality of Zeon, was forced to assist and join the Titans after the One Year War when his sister Artesia was taken hostage by them. His main mission was to hunt down the remnants of Zeon.
