And there's Vinny's younger brother Kyle, whom Vinny raised from a baby after his stepfather took off and his mother died of drug addiction. Vinny also has a neat girlfriend, Sandy. Vinny is rabidly homophobic (besides having a hate-on for almost everyone else – doctors, police, social workers – the usual.) Kyle is gay and getting it on with Sean. Trouble is just around the corner. Trouble happens, but with a long fuse. Things aren't over when Vinny finds that Sean's been screwing his baby brother and beats him to a pulp.

Bloody Stumps Samurai

**"Heed ye scoundrels, I will kill you all."** Gennosuke Inoko is a buraku, a group of people considered to be less than human. Taken in by a dojo and a practitioner of Kenpo, Gennosuke exhibits tremendous skill and a dangerous ferocity. The other members of the dojo conspire against him ending with Gennosuke killing the sensei he thought he trusted. Embittered and lonely, he seeks to eliminate those who wronged him at any cost. Was a very controversial work and many copies were recalled. What has been scanlated on MangaDex is a 2004 release that contains censored dialogue (as represented by Xs and Os) along with an essay giving insight on the controversy. What's also included is a redone version entitled *Heed ye Scoundrels* (alternatively, *Heed my Words*). The official English version that is linked contains the *uncensored* version with the original dialogue and a 2004 essay, as well as the apologies from Hirata himself as well as the (infamous) Hinomaru Bunko. Though, dismayingly, the redone *Heed ye Scoundrels* version is not included. **Links** - Official English (Retrofit Comics) Retail - [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Bloody-Stumps-Samurai-Hiroshi-Hirata/dp/1940398916/) - Alternate Official English - [Comix India](https://comixindia.org/product/verite-03/) (Re-lettered English translation of Retrofit Comics along with Hindi translation by Mili Yadav)
