This work was published after Phantasy Star II and was used as the basis for creating Phantasy Star IV, a video game released in 1993. The manga is incomplete since the Sega Players Enjoy Club magazine folded; the final chapter ends abruptly after a swarm of robot soldiers attempt to surprise the trio at Third's house.

Virtua Fighter 2: Ten Stories is a tie-in to Virtua Fighter 2.

Virtua Fighter adaptation drawn by Yoshihide Fujiwara, who also drew the manga Kenji. Kenji was a huge influence on Yu Suzuki and the development of Virtua Fighter, as well as the spread of Chinese martial arts in Japan. In fact, a bunch of Akira's signature moves are prominently featured in Kenji, so for the author to do the Virtua Fighter manga is like coming full circle. The story revolves around Akira advancing through the world martial arts tournament and uncovering a secret ploy by Dural.

Sonic World Adventure is a two chapter story that was featured in Dengeki Nintendo DS, which is a Japanese gaming magazine published by ASCII Media Works (formally MediaWorks). It was part of the promoting campaign for Sonic Unleashed in Japan and it loosely follows the plot since Sonic's transformation into the Werehog due to Eggman's scheme and later adventures with Chip.

The continent of Yggdra is a place where humans, ogres, giants, forest sprites, and many more mythical creatures live. Led by the Holy King, the continent was at peace until one day, a mysterious group called the Black Army appeared and started conquering the land. In response, the Holy King and its troops fought against it, but Holy Capital fell and the Holy King was killed by the mysterious Black King. As the continent was in the glimpse of destruction, hope glimmered as one man, Yuri, the Hero, decided to fight back and formed the Volunteer Army to oppose the Black King and bring peace back to Yggdra.

Sonic the Hedgehog Story Comic is a three-volume promotional comic for Sonic the Hedgehog distributed alongside the Japanese magazine Mega Drive Fan. The comic tells the story of the first game, with Sonic traversing across South Island and rescuing his animal friends from Dr. Eggman. As the comic was created before the final release of the game, there is a number of references to old concepts and prototype material. Sonic is the lead singer of a band, travels through Sparkling Zone and Clockwork Zone, and the final issue details how Sonic became the mascot of a deceased pilot.

Sonic the Hedgehog is a manga series that was serialized in Shogakukan's Study Magazines for primary school children and Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic Special. It was published in Japan between 1992 and 1994. It is very loosely based upon the video game series, with an original story concept developed by Kenji Terada.
