A very loose adaptation of the story-light cult-classic Super Famicom/SNES video game of the same name. Umihara Kawase (who spells her name differently, indicating this is an alternate universe story compared to the games) must contend with a sinister organisation and confront the legacy of her oceanographer father with the help of her new friend Kouichi Shioji. Serialised in Comic Burger in 1995, it ran for eight chapters. The first six were collected in tankobon format.

Isumi (gay), a salaried worker who wants to live a different life, moved to an apartment for singles with a 6 tatami mat + 6 tatami loft. A so-called "zero-zero property" where you can easily move in with zero deposit and key money. However, the neighbor is a beast that has been thriving since the morning, and Isumi continues to be in agony every day from the morning.

Hachiouji Jou, the Mad Dog, is making a name for himself in the delinquents circle for knocking out various strong delinquent leaders… And his next target, apparently, is Himemiya Seishirou, second year leader of Asanagi high school and a "cat lover"? But as soon as they meet, things take a different turn and an initial attraction leads to steamy sex and some apologies. So who is this Hachiouji who bears resemblance to Himemiya Seishirou's beloved dead dog, Hachiko?

In 1995, along with the release of the original Umihara Kawase game, Shouma Yamabuki wrote and illustrated an 8-part manga series which was published in Comic Burger magazine (this is not that). They also created a 40-page comic story that was published in the Scola/Scholar Hyper Technique guide for the game (this is that). This “gaiden”, or sidestory, chapter uses the setting of his manga series, which is pretty distinct from the admittedly story-light game. In this setting, the heroine Umihara Kawase (whose name is spelled differently from the game version, to denote this is an alternate take on the character) has the mysterious power to breathe underwater and uses an electrified lure as a weapon, and must confront the legacy of her oceanographer father along with her friend Kouichi Shioji.
