One day, the younger brother, Syra, starts to be concerned about beauty and what it means to be beautiful, much to his older brother's chagrin. A rift begins to form between the two brothers when Syra encounters someone in a lake, someone who loves him for his beauty... Serialized in *June*, this one-shot has never been reprinted or collected in any tankobon.

On the day of her town's star festival, Toshiko encounters a puppy being harassed by some children. This puppy takes an unusual liking to her...
