An anthology of short stories and illustrations from various authors and artists following the anime storyline. This series of comics was originally released on the Young Ace UP website the week before the last episode of the [anime](https://anilist.co/anime/87496/Kemono-Friends/) aired and then compiled in an anthology volume.

I Wana Fall in Love Like the Animation Takatoki is a high school boy with an intense obsession for manga and anime. He desperately wants a typical anime romance with a girl who falls into a typical female anime stereotype. His childhood friend Chiyoko, a very unladylike girl who is a notorious fighter, tries in vain to get his mind back to reality. One day, the two of them run into a girl in a sailor schoolgirl outfit being threatened by a generic band of thugs. As Chiyoko beats up the thugs, Takatoki learns that the girl, Asadzuma Youtsugi, is a cosplayer who wants to lead the life of an anime character. Was this Takatoki's fated first encounter with his future anime lover!?

Sono wants to change, so she can get a boyfriend in high school. But sleeping in and late on her way for the opening ceremony, she runs into Aona, who wants to change too. Will this fateful encounter ruin Sono's chance?

The world is becoming warped and overrun by demons. Standing against this tide are the natural enemy of the demons, the 'Onmyoukidou'. Abe is a hard-working, good-natured onmyoukidou of the under-staffed second division defense against the demons. He's relieved to hear that new staff have been assigned to his team, but less so when he meets the rude and violent Yomi and her silent ninja-like partner. Together they must find a way to defend the city from the demons, and to show up the vastly more popular and highly supported first division team.

Ibuki, returning to his childhood town for his grandmother's funeral, is not at all shocked to find that nothing in the little town has changed. Except that he finds out that his grandmother had remarried and that he is now succeeding her as the "Mononokemono."
