Birdland no Sara

Sara's having a very bad day; the restaurant where she works part-time shuts down, and her beloved old dog dies the same day. A strange hobo, Akio, hears her weeping from her apartment, and does his best to cheer Sara up; in thanks, she cooks him dinner. Akio proposes to Sara they set up a catering business together - all well and good, but how will it work? And what of Sara's estranged parents - her celebrity mother, and her absent father, who seems to be appearing to her as a helpful ghost...?

Taking her grandfather’s advice, Iwa, who is in Tokyo for work, strives to do good deeds wherever she goes. Whether it be rescuing an injured bat on the sidewalk or helping out a sickly young man, the city is turning out to be a very interesting place.
