Enji is a cute little android girl with cat ears and a tail. She came from a foreign country, becoming a student at the same school Ai Kodama attends. Back in the country where she hails from, she has only experienced all-android schools, so this is her first time as a student in a mostly-human school. Murata's hand-picked contributors come together in a mind blowing experiment of what happens when top manga artists work in the unusual medium of color. Robot was partially published in English, the first three volumes by Digital Manga Publishing from September 19, 2005 to December 1, 2006, after which the license was taken over by Udon Entertainment, who published volumes 4 and 5 from December 1, 2007 to May 1, 2008, before they too dropped the license.
