This short manga comes from a Famicom Manga pack-in booklet included with the May 1987 Ninensei edition of Shogakukan’s Shogaku Gakushu Zasshi magazines. It's sort of tutorial for the game, teaching you things about how to play it through a light choose-your-own-adventure/puzzle format. It’s pretty simple, as it’s aimed at 8-year-olds.

During a fun camping trip with Roll, Rockman is back to fight against Dr. Wily, who has set out to take over the world. The enemies are powerful, including Snake Man, Gemini Man, and Dive Man. If he's not careful, he'll be defeated. Hang in there, Rock!

A few months after Dr. Wily was arrested thanks to Rockman's efforts, the four robots that were set to activate in the event that something happened to Wily awoke and attacked the prison. Wily easily escaped, and once again, Rockman is forced to fight him.

One day, robots under the control of an evil scientist suddenly start to run amok! The only one who can save the day is the righteous robot Rockman! A two-part adaptation of the Game Boy games *Rockman World 1* and *2*.

In order to counter Dr. Wily's repeated plans for world domination, the X Foundation and the World Robot League are formed with the goal of peace. The X Foundation sponsors a robot championship to determine the best of the best. However, Mr. X, the general of the X Foundation, takes all eight robots and uses them to take over the world. Rockman's battle to stop Mr. X's ambitions begins.
