Repliroids, which were developed to protect humans, began to attack humanity as being superior to humans. However, the doctor who developed the Repliroids foresaw the worst and left the Repliroid named Rockman X, which is constantly growing to protect humanity, as a last trump card... Will X and Zero be able to defeat Sigma, the most powerful enemy who regards humans as Irregulars and wants to eliminate the human race?!

Doppel Town is an ideal world where nature and science coexist and where humans and Repliroids live in harmony. However, the developer, Dr. Doppler, has changed. The utopia turns into a living hell, and X and Zero are swept into the vortex of battle.

Six months after the battle with Sigma, peace appears to have returned to the world, but the crimes of the Irregulars continue to increase. X, who had sealed his own buster and forbidden fighting, finally takes action.

The battle group Repliforce has turned against humanity. What is it that has driven these proud people to such insane actions? What path should X and Zero take? A deadly fight unfolds in the midst of unprecedented chaos as the sentiments of each combatant intersect.
