panpanya’s debut one-volume work. Ashizuri Suizokukan is a recompilation of panpanya’s shorter Ashizuri Suizokukan and ASOVACE series, which were independently published in 2010 and 2011, respectively. It includes a collection of newly written travelogues and an abundance of color pages. Ashizuri Suizokukan was published by Ichigatsu to Shichigatsu on August 30, 2013. The 22 chapters of Makura Uo, which include stories like Ame no Hi (Rainy Day) and Gomi no Sakebigoe (The Cries of Trash), were either serialized in the special web edition of Hakusensha’s Rakuen Le Paradis magazine or published as doujinshi. Collecting a handful of self-published shorts along with a mix of serialized stories and essays, panpanya's English-language debut mixes art styles and narratives from a range of genres.
