Toshikazu Hazamada is your typical outcast high school boy. He bullies small animals, ogles his female classmates, and also has a sentient mannequin called “Surface” who copies the appearance and personality of anyone that touches it. Didn’t want to hear his story? Well, you’re getting it anyway.

Piyohiko has a dream: He wants to be a succesfull guitar-player. Then this guy Jaguar shows up, and coaxes him into playing the 'recorder'. Thus ending Piyohiko's noble dream.

Released in 2006 to celebrate Kochikame's 30th Anniversary, this special edition volume contains several pages of information and pictures related to Kochikame and the series' history. The volume also contains many one-page crossover illustrations from other authors, sit-down discussions with the author of Kochikame, and 5 crossover chapters with other famous manga series.
