One of the first published works by famed Berserk mangaka, Miura Kentaro. It's a short story about survival in a post-apocalyptic era.

Guts, known as the Black Swordsman, seeks sanctuary from the demonic forces attracted to him and his woman because of a demonic mark on their necks, and also vengeance against the man who branded him as an unholy sacrifice. Aided only by his titanic strength gained from a harsh childhood lived with mercenaries, a gigantic sword, and an iron prosthetic left hand, Guts must struggle against his bleak destiny, all the while fighting with a rage that might strip him of his humanity. ___ Won the 6th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize Excellence Award in 2002. Note: Following Miura Kenta's death in 2021, the series has been taken over by Kouji Mori, who supervises the series with art done by Studio Gaga.

Rick has lived a normal life as a mechanic's apprentice in a world underground. That, however, is about to change as he bumps into a strange intruder who is not quite like anyone Rick has ever seen before. Venus, the intruder, claims to be from another world just like Rick's, though slightly different. With the police after Venus, can they figure out what is going on? 100 million years after the Great Destruction, life hangs on in the wastelands with humans, demi-humans, and massive creatures fighting for survival. With the Empire of Olympus using colossal beasts to crush their adversaries, only gladiator Delos, mystic Prome, and the titan Gohra they become can hope to stem genocide and heal the shattered Earth.

A joke comic series drawn by the creator of Berserk about Berserk but hardly has anything to do with it. It gives some insight into the 97 anime production and Miuras' life. The main characters are Miura and Puck who's there mainly to mess with Miura. These chapters were published in multiple places and so are hard to find.
