The curtain rises on an Oriental Reconquista spin-off of Kato Kotono's "Shoukoku no Altair", set far to the east of Rumeliana is the once peaceful and beautiful island nation of Kusanagi, which has been annexed by the larger country of Cinili and fallen into ruin.

For generations the Torqye Pashalu and the Balt-Rhein Empire have stood in stern opposition of each other. Then one night, when an Imperial minister is found assassinated, the two nations are plunged into a potentially explosive situation.
