Mito is a boy with a big heart and the frightening face of a thug. He wants people to rely on him, but he scares people off at first sight. That is, until his schoolmate Yumesaki asks him to help her. Yumesaki has a problem. Every day she is given a new, random supernatural ability by an mysterious being called God, as she has to test them in order to stop a giant meteorite that will destroy the planet in a year. Sure, the goal is to save the planet, but when a boy and a girl spend time together, there are more tender things to discover too!

Yumewo is such a negative pessimist that his power to see the future in his dreams only lets him see bad things that will happen to him. Mitsusada, a high school student with a unique way of looking at things, accidentally started a smartphone application that allows him to buy and sell special abilities. Suddenly, he is attacked by another person with special abilities, and he decides to use his abilities to fight back.

A group of powerful beings called tenkaijin are holding a special tournament. The rules of the game–each tenkaijin selects a kid in junior high to be his champion and grants him a special power. The kids take each other on in heated battle, but if they hurt innocent bystanders, then they lose one of their natural-given abilities. Every time they win a battle, they gain a new ability. The ultimate winner of the tournament is granted any power of his choosing, and the tenkajin who he represents succeeds in becoming the next god. Kosuke Ueki has been chosen to fight in the tournament. His special power–the ability to turn garbage into trees.

Luchiru is a Majin who lives beneath the surface of the earth. He was sent to the surface of the earth as a Spy to gather information in order to defeat the humans living on the surface.
